During an event today, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that streaming services HBO Max and Discovery+ would be merging to their new flagship service, MAX, this May. Alongside this reveal, the company also released teasers for upcoming series, including The Batman, The Sympathizer, and the announcement of a new The Big Bang Theory project. During the event, WBD CEO David Zaslav described MAX as “The one to watch,” promising more than 40 new seasons of tv and features coming to the platform every month.

MAX will be available in three tiers, ranging from $9.99/month to $19.99/month, with various benefits for each tier. See the full descriptions of each tier below:

  • Max Ad-Lite ($9.99/month or $99.99/year): Two concurrent streams, 1080p HD resolution, no offline downloads, and 5.1 surround sound quality.

  • Max Ad Free ($15.99/month or $149.99/year): Two concurrent streams, 1080p HD, up to 30 offline downloads, and 5.1 surround sound quality.

  • Max Ultimate Ad Free ($19.99/month or $199.99/year): Four concurrent streams, up to 4K Ultra HD resolution, 100 offline downloads, and Dolby Atmos sound quality.
